Banish those split ends
Did you know that on average we lose 100 hairs a day? Believe it or not having a regular trim can prevent unnecessary breakages and encourage growth. If when brushing your finding lots of small hairs you need to give it a bit more love and attention! Build up of colour, use of heated appliances or incorrect hairbands, chlorine and sun damage all contribute to the condition of your hair. Here are our top tips to help improve your split ends: Use a shampoo and conditioner for extremely damaged hair. We recommend Davines Nourishing Shampoo and Hair Building Pak Conditioner which help restructure and nourish the hair.
Detangling towel dried hair can be difficult. Davines Oi Milk makes the process much easier; working as a heat protector, adding shine, reducing frizz and detangling. Heat protection is key when using styling tools.
Using the wrong brush can cause a lot of damage to your hair! Tangle Teezers are fantastic for brushing out knots and can be used on wet and dry hair.
Use an Invisibobble hair band! Standard hairbands can cause damage as the metal seals often break the hair and cause tension headaches.
Have a regular trim at least every 9 weeks. By investing in your hair you will save money in the long run as the hair will be stronger and thicker as a result. Do not be tempted to trim your own – it will disrupt the shape and damage the ends! Want to know more? Call us on 01892 539004, email firstname.lastname@example.org or pop for a chat!
